Ask the expert
Dear rare kidney disease patients,
ERKNet, the European Reference Network for Rare Kidney Diseases, would like to open the unique expertise of its internationally renowned specialists to European patients affected by rare kidney diseases and their families.
Today, we are happy to announce our new “Ask the Expert” initiative. If you have one burning question regarding your/your child’s disease, for instance regarding the diagnosis, treatment, quality of life and long-term prognosis, we encourage you to formulate and submit your question to our specialists. They will answer the most relevant submitted questions at the next Annual Conference of the Network on May 11th in a public Question & Answer session that will be streamed through the ERKNet Website.
You can ask up to three questions. You can formulate your question(s) either in English or in your native language.
The Web page will remain open for your input until April 15th.
If your question is selected for the Q&A session, we will contact you to make sure you can attend the online session on May 11th. If you wish, we can record your question beforehand in a Zoom meeting and show the video of you asking your question in your native language at the conference, followed by the expert’s answer.
We hope we can fill a gap with this new format and hope to receive many questions from patients with many different rare kidney diseases. If this premiere is successful, ERKNet will organize further patient Q&A Webinars in the future.
